PianoAnyway

PianoAnyway

Play anywhere.

Got a chart in ABC letters? Paste it — see 123, transpose, play.

You bring the chords (paste or build). We turn them into keys you can play — MIDI or on-screen.

For anyone who accompanies with a chart they can barely read — and kids exploring.

Who is PianoAnyway for?

Singers

Need a new key? Transpose the whole Path in seconds.

Beginners & kids

Do not read letter charts yet? See exactly which keys to play. Kids can explore too.

Musicians

Bring your chord chart. Build, play, change key, and experiment.

Bring your own chords.

No song search. No licensed song catalogue. Paste your chart or build a Path from cards.

123 or Do-Re-Mi — chords your way

Switch 123, Do-Re-Mi, or both — on cards, keys, and circle. Transpose and labels follow.

A path you can hear

Stack five, six, or more chords you like. Gold Play hears the path; Rec captures your take.

Paste your chords — ABC → 123

Most charts are letter chords (C G Am F) — hard to play if you think in 123. Paste into Play → Paste progression → Use this. Labels switch to 123 / Do-Re-Mi; then transpose, blue keys, MIDI, save. Not a song library — your chart, your path.

Turn sound on Mute

Sound is near the end — tap 「Turn sound on」 under the video (silence at the start is normal).

Blue keys — tap to play

Blue = this chord’s left-hand base. Gold edge = safe notes for your right hand. While the cards play above, keep noodling on the keyboard — melody, fills, or a little composition. Tap Rec and capture the whole take: backing path + what you played.

Speed, beats, tone, drums

Under the keys: tempo, beats per chord, sound, and drum style. Tap to preview — gold Play uses your pick.

Circle of fifths — kept simple

Tap a neighbor to transpose. Recommended chords below — tap to hear. 123 / Do-Re-Mi stay.

Chords by feel — tap to play

Pick chords you like — by feel or genre. Tap to hear; + adds to your path.

Save & share

Rec records your jam while the path plays — keyboard and cards together. Or save the path alone. Share — paths become a beautiful chord-keyboard picture.

Two ear games

Hear → pick, or Feeling → pick — light ear practice. Not ranked homework.

What am I playing?

Hold a chord on the on-screen keys or a connected MIDI piano — the app names it in 123 / Do-Re-Mi. No piano required to try. One tap adds it to your path.

This clip has no sound — watch the chord name on screen.
